Walmart and Sam’s Club associates across the country are busy raising funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals across the United States. One associate, Betty O’Neal, is a greeter at a Walmart in Hartsville, SC, and every day she’s at work she dutifully stands by a baby doll in an incubator as she tries to hit her personal goal of $10,000 raised this year. Her highest fundraising amount to date is $7,000. The Morning News in South Carolina took notice and wrote an article about “Ms. Betty’s” efforts to help McLeod Children’s Hospital, a CMN Hospital in Florence, SC.

Over the last 29 years, passionate associates like Ms. Betty have raised nearly $1 billion for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals throughout the U.S. and Canada. This year’s annual campaign is currently underway and runs until Oct. 16. Donate $1 or more when you check out today!
